I knew there was a good reason that I'm largely fandom adjacent for The Musketeers :-( My fannish friends who are Musketeer lovers are either very OT3 or OT4 shippers. Or D'Artagnon/Athos shippers. Or huge Constance fans. I'd been unaware that Aramis was such a huge fan favourite!

Yup, those fans will be hugely disappointed by the books. Probably best they don't read them. None of them emerge as particularly delightful gentlemen a lot of the time :-)
