The mystery reader in me is still not convinced Ethan committed those two murders we see - there are hints in other directions which might of course be red herrings - but he clearly thinks he did, so, yeah, I had the same question re: why on earth do you hang out in one of the most crowded cities in the world, child? I wonder if he hasn't really been a werewolf for very long - I still suspect a sort of curse for something bad he did during the Indian Wars - and thus convinced himself that whatever he did in America wouldn't happen again?
Victor's speech was the first thing that really made me sit up and notice the actor, Harry Treadaway, as someone who is extremely gifted with words - though he was certainly funny in his earlier scenes and gets to be plenty dramatic later on, but this moment is just someone relishing his craft. The cast is so exceptionally good in this. Can't wait for the new season!
