I don't blame you. The sole reason why I'd rate the Nostradamus one above the Serpent Garden in terms of which of her novels I like least is that the angel and demon in the later are so annoying, and I've imprinted on the 10001 Nights tales and Faust enough to like the "how does one outwit a malicious wish fulfiller" trope.

But The Oracle Glass is unquestioningly the best!
