Well, there is actually something wrong about the title as it should either read "Leadership styles of Jean-Luc Picard and Emma Swan" or "Leadership styles of Jean-Luc Picard, Emma and Snow... ;-)
I'm still in awe, though, how you manage to come up with such a well-observed, delightful bit of meta after an exhausting real life week!
As for Emma not wanting Picard's job:
I figure the sentiment would be mutual, because Picard always struck me as a character deeply committed to the ideals of European Enlightenment, Rationalism and Humanism. Storybrooke and the various magic realms, however, more often than not appear to operate by a set of rules that is, at least in part, essentially Romantic. All these pesky emotions, sublime irrational powers and powerful True Love Kisses would make Picard feel rather uncomfortable I think. Not that he wouldn't be able to cope with these phenomena, but to experience them on a daily basis? Oh dear! *g*
