There's been a general trend over the last few years where it seems like there's a dearth of meta on any topics BUT social justice & while I think lots of conversations re: what media says about race, general, power structures, etc are brilliant, others are positive/neutral/not for me, I miss just having interesting conversations about characterization and craft.
