I have conflicting feelings about Lagertha's storyline. I like the idea of her becoming queen by conquest instead of marriage, but making it about Aslaug just doesn't jive well since, (given Ubbe's age), Aslaug married Ragnar 22 years ago. I've always seen Aslaug herself as more a tool of fate than the conniving seductress she's been made out to be. I thought Lagertha had cautiously made peace with her divorce years ago...but maybe the writers couldn't think of anything else to give her to do?
