You’ve perfectly articulated why I responded so much to Saru, who ended up one of my favourite characters (and I loved a lot of characters on Disco). I really enjoyed reading this. I’ve been vaguely wanting to re-watch Season 1 before Season 2 begins, but I haven’t been quite motivated enough (because apparently watching tv is something that now requires motivation...). But reading this makes me excited to do so.
