I didn’t see Impromptu as a movie about composers as much as I saw it as a rom com starring a writer. ;) But then, it was eons ago, and I only watched it once. I do remember that the exes relationship between George Sand and Alfred de Musset was more interesting than the budding romance with Chopin to young me, though.
Seriously, though: I can’t think of another movie about a composer that uses music so well, either.
