since Grogu ages as slowly as he does, whoever takes care of him will have to deal with Grogu as a child for probably their remaining natural life span

Yeah, I was thinking about the same thing that if Yoda died of old age at 900 and Grogu is still on the level of a human 2-year-old at 50, Grogu will probably still be a child when Din dies. And I really hope the show will explore the tragedy of that.

But considering what happens to Luke's Jedi apprentices, my guess is that Grogu will not end up becoming at all Jedi for whatever reason (maybe in tandem with Din abandoning his Mandalorian creed). I wouldn't be surprised if the show was setting up some kind of Jedi vs. Mandalorians clash with Din & Grogu being caught in the middle.

eta: Oh, and forgot to say that I 100% agree with you re: Wanda and the show not allowing her become a villain. I really hated that line about
what she'd sacrificed.
