Hotham: at first I thought "what if Hotham Jr. turns out to be a Companion, like Turlough (from Five's era)? And the immediate next thought was: Na! Clearly, Hotham was Ten! No wonder he lured Lehndorff away from his grand passion (but also no wonder Lehndorff didn't stay!)
Let's hope Lehndorff undoctored (ahem) diaries aren't also a victim of WWII. Why were you East Prussian, Lehndorff?
You know what, I fully approve of her flirting with Amalie, but if Fritz isn't careful of what he says in her presence, he might get an earful.
I did consider letting Fritz meet Donna so she could slap him, but Bill is up to the job as well, though I think she's more likely to do it verbally. Still, her wish got fulfilled, and also I'm sure she knows best that being gay doesn't mean the person in question is also nice.
I think Three plays cards (bet that's one of the many things to do when stuck on Earth and working with UNIT; by the time he's Seven, he also can do magic card tricks. Sarah Jane probably learned it as a way to get people comfortable to talk to her as a journalist.
Or do we never learn what he intended / is he just trying to meddle all over the place because he can't help himself?
That, since I like ambiguity, and also I do believe the answer to "would he rewrite his life for love or politics/benefits to the state" would be "both".
And hey. Other than the eyes, I think Old Fritz looks sufficiently different from Young Fritz not to give himself away immediately. Unless he meets Dad and can't resist the temptation to get a "well done, son" moment, in which case, disaster. But I think he's going to avoid Dad very deliberately.
Do we pluck them from different points in time? Do they end up comparing notes at some point - "I had the weirdest dream"?
They can't at that point, because he's in Küstrin and she's sick, and under lock and key at home, and thus really both sold on the whole "clearly, we're dreaming" concept.
(BTW, this means of course Fritz meets the Doctor first as Thirteen and then later as Twelve, which is precisely why he won't realise this is the same person during the Bach episode.)
And of course you saved Doris. Who is indeed the perfect person for Thirteen and Yaz to meet running around the streets of Potsdam.
*beams* I thought so.
On the other hand, lucky for all of them, no one on the Tardis is male and exceptionally tall, or there'd be complications.
Indeed, which is why I picked the time when it's just Thirteen and Yaz, because good lord, do I ever want to spare Ryan (or Dan) from being drafted by FW!
Which is as good an explanation as any, given that we still have no idea what happened to the dogs!
no subject

Exactly. :)
