I had to look it up -- JMS was born in 1954, so I think technically he's still a Boomer, and the 63 and 68 assassinations were really shattering for everyone in the US, let alone the kids growing up at the time. I think it's also kind of a bitter joke that there is a big right-wing conspiracy behind Santiago's death, because boy the JFK conspiracy theories are still evergreen nearly sixty years later.
