Reading the Wikipedia article on Carl Friedrich Goerdeler reminded me of a few years ago, when I got in an argument in the comments of someone else's blog review of "The Fall of Night" about the Munich Crisis references in the episode. His position was that if Chamberlain hadn't been a stupid naive coward at Munich, and had stood up to Hitler, the German army would TOTALLY have overthrown the Nazis rather than risk going to war with Britain. Sigh.
