Lovely thoughts on "Angel" and Angel (and Wesley!) I was one of the non-fans of having Spike on the show's last season and a lot of times I tolerated his presence and kind of squinted through the Spike-heavy episodes ... I'm not sure I entirely buy him as Angel's replacement son for Connor but I will try to see it with this perspective now. And I can't wait for your commentary on the stunning episodes in the second half of the season - in particular "Origin" and of course, "Smile Time" ;)
