A weird thing about AppleTV+ is that it has very few bad shows. Certainly a higher ratio of quality to failures than any other streaming service. Foundation is one of my favourites -- I too read a lot of Asimov as a teen, but skipped Foundation on the grounds that Maths Doesn't Work Like That. I finally read the first book before the TV series launched, and was deeply unimpressed -- I love what the adaptation has done with it, even the failures of season 1.
