I was very struck by Cassian Andor in "Rogue One" https://igenlode.dreamwidth.org/158949.html#cutid3 and have been vaguely thinking for some times that I ought to try to get into the "Andor" series since I've heard various good things about it... I only have terrestrial broadcast TV, which tends to rule out this sort of thing until years after the original releases!
