Desexualisation of the human female? Dualla is human, female, and presented as a sexual being (incidentally also one who consistently takes the initiative, from her first kiss with Billy onwards - she's presented as the dominant partner in that relationship and is a very positive character). Kara is human, female, and probably the character we saw in most sexual relationships (Zack in flashback, Baltar in KLG, Anders on Caprica). Ellen Tigh is human, female, and sexual (also the only one of the humans you could classify as a villainess, but then her husband is shown as flawed). Laura Roslin, arguably not just the most powerful woman but the most powerful person on the show, isn't presented in sexual situations but neither is she presented as asexual. As for Starbuck calling Boomer a bitch, she also called Tigh a bastard and a son of a bitch a couple of times. Maybe it's because English isn't my native language, but I don't know why "bitch" is a worse insult than whatever else she could have said.
