Welllll, I don't think the father imago would have worked in the same way for Lyta. After all, the corps is mother, the corps is father. *g* (Otoh, Lyta until she reached her breaking point and went Dark Phoenix was a follower, so you could make an argument that both the Vorlons and Byron were in a way replacements for the Corps she used to believe in but couldn't anymore once she found out the truth...)

In any case, the show did quite clearly make a visual analogy, when it came to Lyta and her interactions with Kosh I and Kosh II - consensual sex in the former, rape in the later case. So who knows what she saw the Vorlons as...
