Re: Bob, I know you do, and of course time will tell, but I maintain his evilness will not include any "let's significantly reduce the world's population" plans any time soon. And I think the fact he's not on board with Elle gratitiously killing people argues that he's not on Evil Overlord Level yet, too.
I might very well be too suspicious, but he is just a tad too jovial for my taste. And he omits quite skillfully when he dishes out information, and he is really good at changing tactics - he's commanding with Matt, and when the same doesn't work with Mohinder and Nathan, he switches over to emotion and information/emotion respectively - while at the same time, he is not even tempted to try these approaches with Niki (except for the syringe incident). All of this actually makes me hope I am wrong, because he's too entertaining to be just in it to cleanse the world... Lastly, I have an incredibly banal reason - I don't find Adam scary or clever enough to count as the Big Bad. He's a step up from Sylar, but so far, not even remotely close to even Linderman calibre.
