Yay! I pretty much agree with all of this. I think the biggest problem with season 2 for me has been that the separate storylines have started to feel more strained than before - when the characters are far apart, you can't just have an unimportant character pass by in the background as you can on other ensemble shows. But even so, I've loved the eps so far a lot, and mostly for the reasons you have mentioned. :-)
