...and incidentally, VM the show I think handled the incest (not!) thing realistically, emotion-wise, i.e. in Veronica's and Duncan's reactions. For fanfic, it wasn't that big an issue (from my very brief fandom experience, correct me if I'm wrong) because everyone was into Veronica/Logan from the start. Now if Echolls Senior had been the one presented as a potential bio dad, I think the outcries would have been immense...
