True, but we don't get to know Rorschach's social worker as an individual outside of his interview -- nothing like the depth we get in the comic. The newspaper vendor and the boy reading the comic were there, too, but we didn't know anything about them, either. I'd have liked to have seen at least one civilian character with a personality.

You're definitely right, though, about the 9/11 resonance (and I couldn't help noticing that the towers were still standing, in the background of the post-explosion NYC).
