The absence of gorgets are the least bothersome thing about The Tudors for me, compared with the effort it took to make that particular era dull and the utter lack of worry any of the female character have about getting pregnant, losing their virginity etc., because you just know everyone was on the pill. And let's not get even started on the dynastic clusterfuck that is giving Henry only one sister instead of two (so much for Mary of Scots a few years later - no idea where she's supposed to come from), making that sister marry the king of Portugal instead of France (no idea why), and then die very soon after marrying Charles Brandon (so much for the entire Grey line)...
