I don't think it's possible to make a film primarily about Thatcher in power that would make her sympathetic for someone with my politics/philosophy
Would it make a difference to you if she were a fictional PM? Because back when I marathoned The West Wing it occured to me the show had many fans in the US who weren't Democrats but Republicans, and I wondered whether the reverse would have been possible, i.e. a political show around a Republican White House also liked by Democrats, again, with the proviso that the administration and the ruler are fictional.
