DW: Time Crash

...and along with the rest of the universe, I'm reduced to a SQUEEEEEEEEE.

No seriously, that was unadulterated crack fun combined with character love in the way only Doctor Who can do.

...and along the way, Moffat even included an explanation on why the Titanic can breach the TARDIS in the end.*g* Loved the way Five mentioned New Who stuff (L.I.N.D.A!!!!) while Ten mentioned Old Who folk (Tegan, Nyssa...). Loved the meta-ness and David Tennant doing that thing again he did back in School Reunion in his first scene with Elisabeth Sladen where he uses his fanboy glow for the character. Can't decide between

"You are.... a fan!"

and

"Does (the Master) still have that silly beard?" "No beard... well, a wife"

for funniest lines, but most touching goes of course to the end, from "I loved being you" to "You were my Doctor". Mind you, Five isn't my Doctor, but I've come around to liking him muchly via catching up on his adventures, and the recounting here of the Doctor, when young, wanting to appear old "as one does" is an inspired Watsonian explanation for why One put up with all that physical age instead of finding an opportunity to regenerate way earlier. So is Five as the age of innocence and adventure. And of course the reason for the glasses both Five and Ten use is one we guessed all along.*g*

I *loved* that. It may have been short but they made every moment count and the beautiful warmth of "your were my Doctor" just made me melt.

So adorable! (Does he still have a beard indeed.)

If Donna does call him "your evil dead ex-boyfriend" next season, it wouldn't be more canonical...

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! That was like...800 times more awesome than I thought was even possible. And the beard line? Good grief. That whole thing was just too much. I am beside myself with love.

Hi! Can't respond to Dr. Who post cause I'm so behind and don't want to be spoiled, but

I know you're a Heroes fan, so I thought you might be interested in this Heroes panel I just attended, at which Jesse Alexander (Alias, Lost, Heroes) was a speaker.
