Having just recently complained about the lack of Amber fanfiction, I'm happy to report I discovered a community devoted to her, no less,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
ctb_ftw. Here's a great ficlet about her competition with Thirteen early in the season; Amber in her überambitious cutthroat glory, and Thirteen playing enigmatic. I love it:

Torchwood:
Seven Ages of Man : the ensemble, in short, sharp vignettes.
Doctor Who:
Snap: so much more than a missing scene between the very end of Forest of the Dead and scenes preceeding it, and a wonderful hurt/comfort story for Donna and the Doctor.
Lost:
Adieu: Alex and Danielle Rousseau. Most fanfic I've read about these two seemed to be based on the assumption there would be instant bonding and intimacy, but given the sixteen years apart, I've always found that unlikely. This look into Alex' head early in season 4 is entirely plausible, touching, and deftly written.
