Note to self: crack AUs popular. Also it's fun to rise the challenge and come up with ideas without the obligation of writing lengthy fic to follow it up. Although I may be tempted to do something about the Ancient Rome!Ashes to Ashes and WWII No Aliens No Superpowers! Doctor Who starring Seven and Ace plot bunnies. The former is actually more an Ancient Alexandria!AU (though Gene Hunt is a Roman), and the later was probably the biggest challenge to invent because it wasn't easy to come up with something that captures quintessential Seventh Doctor character traits (of which the fact he has lived several lives before is one without breaking the no aliens no superpowers condition. But I'm pleased with my solution and in that far and distant time when I have leisure to spare might do some detailed research so I can write it. Should anyone with more time right now feel inspired by any of the crack AUs, feel free to adopt any of the bunnies, though!

In terms of sheer statistic: Farscape was the fandom most asked for (resulting in Elizabethan!Farscape, Ancient Rome!Farscape and Rock Star!Farscape), and Ancient Rome the period most asked for. 'Twas fun.
