Um - Is it wrong that if i do this list every entry is in bold ...

[identity profile] greenpear.livejournal.com 2008-04-02 01:03 pm (UTC)(link)
What could be wrong with that???

[identity profile] greenpear.livejournal.com 2008-04-02 01:16 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm glad that many of the shows I've invested time in made the list!

My dear, compared to me, your viewing habits are moderate. The count of shows on that list I haven't seen at least one episode of is below ten.

... I probably need a life.

You haven't seen Futurama? *is shocked*

[identity profile] selenak.livejournal.com 2008-04-02 03:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. Nor The Simpsons, which apparantly everyone else has watched.

[identity profile] wee-warrior.livejournal.com 2008-04-02 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
The question would be how you managed to escape The Simpsons? (And believe me, I've tried, I'm most famously Not A Fan. But osmosis got the better of me, as in many cases.)

[identity profile] selenak.livejournal.com 2008-04-02 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I solidly refused to watch a single episode and always switched channels further when coming across one accidentally?

[identity profile] wee-warrior.livejournal.com 2008-04-02 05:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Good strategy, although not applicable in my case. The Valiant Roommate has probably told me the plot of every single Simpsons episode I haven't watched. For similar reasons, I know so much about old Star Wars, only in that case, it's moderately TVR's, and absolutely The Previous Not Quite So Valiant Roommate's fault. It's what you get for rooming with hardcore geeks I guess. [On the other hand, TVR probably gets more impromptu lectures on Feminism in Modern Times and the Media than he could ever wish for. So there. ;)]

Finally, somebody else who's never seen an episode of that show. I really thought I was the only one.

Hail, comrade!

[identity profile] swmbo.livejournal.com 2008-04-02 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh man! I don't wanna see my results!

ALthough I think they need a third category to describe the "I watched this show religiously until suddenly at season xyz I could no longer take it"

That's a very special category of its OWN!

It's an interesting list, innit? I have no clue what Prison Break is doing on there. Or 24, really.

[identity profile] selenak.livejournal.com 2008-04-03 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
Not having watched Prison Break, I couldn't say. As for 24, they do get points for innovation - it's no mean feat, once they hit upon the basic idea, to pull off the concept in a suspenseful way - and maybe the audience at large didn't find the ideology behind it as off-putting as I did.
