The doctor (replacement guy) was just there (i.e. in my mother's room, and Dad called) and said EVERYTHING IS FINE! According to him, it was not a tumor at all but an irritation of the peritonium with side effects!

Thank you all for the virtual hand holding - I'm feel like dancing now!
