After all, unlike Ivchenko and his dead brother at Finnau, Howard personally knew and loved Steve, and I think that trumps soldiers dying in war for him. I like that he's destroying his wartime inventions, too - it's not like he is going to stop inventing weapons, but he no longer has the urgency of wartime.
I loved so much that the show didn't wrap up Peggy's story with her being with someone (or leaning in that direction) but ended her past story with Steve and set up up to move on into the future. And I am thrilled that Dottie survived - having failed in her mission, would she go back to her handlers or make a break for it and "be anyone" like she said?
