I missed last week's ep and can't get my hands on it right now, so I had to rely on the previouslies to this one in order to catch up.

So Alison and Donnie HAVE watched Breaking Bad by now it, it seems (as opposed to being solely familiar with Dexter last season). I'm not sure about Walter White as a role model on how to solve one's financial problems in the suburb, Alison and Donnie, but carry on.

Is the female doctor/scientist/mother figure with the Castor clones Susan Duncan? I.e. if Ethan had faked his death, why not his wife? And it would make sense considering she was the other chief scientist in the original clone project. Anyway, I approve of her being in charge for the same reason I liked Rachel being in a leading position last season, because it makes the black and white clones versus patriarchy scenario far less clear cut. Mind you, I still think Paul as the army's mole with Dyad and well versed in clone matters (now he's served with the Castors!) makes absolutely no sense considering his lack of awareness Beth was a clone or that Sarah was before finding it out, but okay, moving on with the foolish retcon. Paul having some emotional investment in saving the boy clones based on that might actually make him a bit more interesting.

The opening sequence of Felix and Sarah trying their hand at body disposal was one of those black humor elements the show does so well. Ditto for Cosima and Scott later dissecting the Castor clone (Seth?) and getting his brains out. Btw, do I detect an element of flirtation when Felix trades geek names with Scott? I'm still rooting for Felix to get a steady love interest here.

Art being back and in a prominent role through the episode, partnered up with Sarah and investigating, was great. Art confessing he was secretly in love with Beth was less great. Did you have to go there, show? He couldn't miss Beth deeply because she was his partner? Eh. This being said, I approve of Beth still being missed instead of swept under the carpet. Also of Sarah feeling protective of Art.

Mark coming clean with Gracie about being part of the military and a mole with the Prolethians but not about being a clone, his reaction when Sarah (briefed by Cosima) told him the female and male clones were biological siblings and Mark throughout was written and acted nicely layered and three dimensional, which made me all the more frustrated when Mrs. Johannsen killed him at the end. Dammit, show, he was the only one of the Castor clones so far who really interested me! Argh!

Helena having been told it was Sarah who sold her out when Sarah is looking for her appears like it's going to generate my least favourite plot device: violence due to misunderstanding.

Rachel having to relearn her motoric functions while being told Delphine has staged her death (the way Rachel staged Dr. Leeke's last season, though Delphine doesn't know Rachel actually didn't kill him - and no one but Donnie and Alison knows how Leekie did die) continues to make me hopeful for Rachel getting an interesting arc this season. Being absolutely powerless and having to start from scratch is the direct opposite to who and what she was before, and it doesn't come with sexual menacing overtones, as opposed to Helena's imprisonment, which feels repitive of a plot line I couldn't stand last season already.

I approve of the lady scientist being in charge too. And Susan Duncan, I totally forgot about her! I really hope it's her! *_*
Agreed about Paul. *nods*
/Dammit, show, he was the only one of the Castor clones so far who really interested me! Argh!/ - My reaction exactly. Are we sure he's really dead though? (I seem to remember a shot of him with his head bleeding in the promo for next week's episode. Did I hallucinate that?)
