Yeah, there was definitely some poetic license but the "I know a charm" monologue is at the very least paraphrased straight out of the Havamal (usually translated as the "Sayings of the High One"), which is from myth!Odin's POV. I squealed and clapped my hands when he said that, because I am a nerd. ♥

Loved the song choice, love Salim, love Sweeney and Laura and their ongoing asshole-off at each other, was absolutely rapt over the whole dang episode. This show is too marvelous for words, and it's hitting all my buttons pretty much at once all the time. XD
