I am not big on the MCU in general, apart from Agent Carter and Jessica Jones , but I really enjoyed your fic. Precisely because it reminded me of Copenhagen , which is one of my favourite plays (I remember the feeling of having my mind blown when I first read it in a seminar on contemporary British drama at uni).
And I had the same feeling regarding your fic: by grounding it in actual history (modified for the needs of your characters), you made the MCU a richer place for your readers (well, me at least ;)). As for von Weizäcker and Hydra: 1) I think that if anyone *would* point out that Hydra doesn't make sense, it would be von Weizäcker (certainly not Heisenberg, not at this point in time) and 2) it is a truth universally acknowledged that Hydra makes no sense ;) Maybe this is a consequence of the difference between American conceptualisations of (this period in) German and European history and German takes on that and their subsequent (lack of) popularisation, I don't know, but what I know of Hydra makes me want to bang my head against a wall, and I am certainly no history purist (for all I am a history geek).
