I saw that same Patrick Stewart Tempest! I'd forgotten it was that long ago; I think that might have been the last time we were in the UK. (We decided not to travel on credit cards anymore, and as a result, we don't travel much. But are getting out of debt.)
It was actually the second Patrick Stewart Tempest I'd seen, the first being here in New York, a production from the summertime Shakespeare in the Park that was so successful they reprised it on Broadway, which is where I saw it. (People were camping out in Star Trek tents to get the free tix to see the park production.)
Very different productions, both excellent. He has become my definitive Prospero.
