I would be really interested to hear what you think of Unorthodox. I watched a couple of episodes and found it well executed, with very human characters, but ultimately it just had too much of that Oppressed Woman Escapes From Fundamentalist Religion vibe for me to be 100% comfortable with its portrayal of ultra-Orthodox Judaism. Not that there aren't valid issues there but I felt that a show like Shtisel dealt with them in a less exoticising way.

Also I had trouble believing that a woman who didn't have a piano at home could ever make it into a conservatory, even if they had a programme for non-traditional students! You don't go that route without practicing 3-4 hours a day minimum and so the show started to seem a bit fantastical to me at that point.
