You're very welcome. Like I said, I can understand why Iannucci cut it, given he'd aged David up from child to teenager (at least) at the point where David ends up with his aunt (whereas in the novel he's still a child), and had just given Dev Patel shaped David a confrontation of his own with Mr. Murdstone. (In the novel, adult David does see the Murdstones again, separately, but years later.) It would have felt repetitive to depict two confrotations in a row. But it is an awesome scene, and everyone should know it. Because if you take the famous opening sentence of the novel seriously, then the answer as to who the hero of David Copperfield's life is: undoubtedly Betsey Trotwood.
