I hear you on Cary Elwes' Houseman. BTW, Mank when presenting him as eternally fretting actually has him say to Mank "He" - Orson - "will fire us! I've never been fired in my life!" - which, leaving aside that the Welles/Houseman relationship already had had its big explosion - Houseman babysitting and aiding Mankiewicz was more of an aftermath - gets the dynamics involved between everyone so wrong that I wanted to weep.

Marion Davies: good to know, and if these movies ever come my way, I will check them out!
