I mean it's definitely better than giving the contract to some crony who doesn't have the surveillance equipment yet, or copied the contract from a pizza delivery service. From what I understand it's a professional outfit, that probably will properly alert them if French boats break the rules for normal fishery enforcement actions. It just doesn't really go with their cod war LARPing (or I guess more generously symbolic politics) or whatever this is supposed to be.
