Well, Craig Brown gave himself an out by saying „at any given period of the Beatle‘s life“, so I suppose you could choose George, say, in his Monty Python patron phase when he‘s gotten his act together and found Olivia and peace (mostly), but limit it to perhaps Dani’s early childhood years, so you avoid the death by lung cancer, or Ringo in in the early Beatlemania years (not yet an alcoholic, he feels incredibly lucky, and isn‘t increasingly frustrated the way George is). But yeah, in general I suspect unless you despise every fibre of his being, it‘s going to be Paul, for all those reasons.
