Re: scandal - consider that not just this reporter but the media in general wasn't especially interested in digging for one when Roslin was secretary of education. Which isn't a flashy cabinet post, so it didn't get her intense scrutiny. By the time she's president, when every leaf would be turned under normal circumstances, nobody has access to anyone's records beyond the material they had with them anymore.
