I've not seen any Star Wars TV before so aside from wookpedia and nerd culture osmosis from the internet I was going in blind. Found the episode perfectly comprehensible plot wise but nothing really endeared me to Ahsoka as a central character.

Which is sad because I am fond of Rosario Dawson from netflix marvel as you say.
