You know, inlovewithnight just wrote a scholarly paper about BSG that I read twice, for fun, and now I read this and I'm nodding along and I wish I had something to add. I don't know why I can talk about Serenity and Angel for hours, but the extent of my BSG-meta is something on the lines of "Starbuck is wicked cool, and I would probably vote for Tom Zarek." Also, I just got the Six Degrees of Separation title.

So. . .what you said. He's very interesting, and I really felt a lot of sympathy for him in the Gina scenes (sympathy in terms of his motives, not woe-is-Gaius sympathy); that's the plot I'm most intrigued by when the show comes back. (Soon, right? *whimpers*)

I've got to look at those deleted scenes when I have some time; just catching up Veronica Mars now!
