One result from the earlier mentioned bookstore raid was, in addition to books, copies of the British magazine SFX. Now, I have some issues with SFX but their interviews are always fun. Here are some especially satisfying quotes:

Joss Whedon, re: war in Real Life as opposed to the Buffyverse:
"You know, actually we found ourselves in a terrible situation. I do not support our president's action in pretty much anything he does and the last thing in the world I ever wanted was for any of BUFFY'S rethoric to be compared to anything he was saying. Ostensibly we have a war on BUFFY, so I think it was very much a concern of the writers and myself to try and stress the pain and the uncertainty and the emotions of it, as opposed to the sort of 'Gung Ho, let's go get 'em' attitude. None of us advocates the idea of war. I certainly didn't support this particular action. We just found ourselves hoping that the emotional content of BUFFY would come through and that people wouldn't misuse our rethoric for the purpose of saying, 'See, Buffy likes war.'"

Next, this is from an article about Patrick Stewart, re Magneto and Xavier:
"Their relationship, which alternates between friendship and animosity (due mostly to their differing opinions about mankind's treatment of the mutants) in many ways captures the heart of the film's subject matter.
'Many people have said that, and Ian and I both felt it very strongly,' Stewart concurs. 'Yet when the early drafts of the new script were happening, our characters didn't have that connection. Both Ian and I campaigned to find a way to bring them together again, not just because of the selfish reason that we enjoy working with each other, but because there had been such a strong reaction when those two characters had been together in the first film. So there's not as much as we would have liked, but we hope in the future - if there is a future - there will be much ore, because it is a very interesting relationship. Magneto takes a bit of a different turn in this film, a rather unexpected turn, but we do have one scene together. And it's a strong one.'"

Finally, Joss is spoilery about AtS, season 5: )
