Muses competing, DS9 fanfic, and a link
Feb. 10th, 2004 06:29 pmI got some nice feedback for City Girls and am idly pondering why the Jossverse reviews, percentage-wise, tend to be better spelled than the B5 reviews. Not that this keeps me from my space station muses. The Deep Space Nine ones pointed out to me that they still feel underappreciated in comparison to That Other Station. Quark wants his own livejournal, too, so I checked at
theatrical_muse, but unfortunately, someone already applied. (Otoh, that someone hasn't written anything yet, since weeks, so maybe he will get his wish after all.)
Then the Cardassians complained that I claim to love them as much as the Ferengi but do nothing to prove it. Which resulted in very angsty fanfiction:
Five Notes In Grey
Ah, Cardassians. The embodiment of DS9's shades of grey ethos indeed.
Lastly, in Potterdom, A.J. Hall has come up with an an amazing theory about The Prank I haven't seen anywhere else. (Remember The Prank - Sirius Black sends Severus Snape to a fateful rendez-vous with wolfed-out Remus during their school years?) If you, like me, have always wondered why on earth that ended without anyone getting expelled and what the heck Sirius was thinking - this explanation is for you.
