I normally don't do birthday posts, because I'm prone to forget some birthdays and then if I do others people might feel slighted, or so my paranoid mind says. However, I make an expection today. Because the lady in question is my oldest "internet" friend. We met when I was a wee Highlander fan, many many years ago, and then we met in person at a convention in Birmingham, somewhat later.

We've shared many fandoms, though not all, I've done my part of virtual hand holding when she fretted about her favourite Jossverse character due to what you could call Dukat trauma, and I was thrilled and delighted when she was caught in the allure of ljdom as well. Because she makes wonderful fabulous icons like the one I'm using right now, and I'm totally exploiting that. Also because she's sweet and kind and great fun to be with, and I would not want to be without her anywhere in fandom.
