Dr. Who 3/29.04, Daleks in Manhattan

Not as fantastic as last week's Gridlock was, but then, it's the first part of a two-parter, which means lots of set up and the pay-off delayed until next week. Overall, I did enjoy it.

remix_redux is open for business, which is so not good if you have work to do, as is the case with yours truly. But over 300 something stories in many fandoms! How can I not read? At least some?

I received Love (The Very Splendored Remix) , which is a wonderful take on my Babylon 5 story Knowing Love; it uses mine as background and yet is entirely its own voice. I'm grateful and slightly envious.

Here are some early favourites:

BtVS: Fix - which is what Dawn tries to do, after being able to access her power as the Key. With increasingly terrifying results. This one will haunt you for a long while.

Farscape: Never trust a dog to watch your food - Rygel during Terra Firma, experiencing Earth through its culinary delights and having a cynical view on everything else. This Rygel fan is very happy.

Harry Potter: Dudley Dursley and the Hogwarts letter - very original and entirely plausible AU: instead of Harry being orphaned and growing up with the Durleys, you have Dudley being orphaned and growing up with the Potters, as a Muggle in a wizard family.
