Aaaaand we don't have just teaser trailers anymore, but a proper trailer, for Jessica Jones!
First impression: Krysten Ritter in action looks younger than I imagined Jessica from the comics, but she doesn't remind me of Jane from Breaking Bad here, I have no problems believing in her as a new character. Mike Colter, formerly Lemond Bishop in The Good Wife, sounds like he'll make a perfect Luke Cage. No opinion on Not Carol yet, she's too shortly in the trailer. David Tennant sounds suitably creepy as Killgrave/The Purple Man. The brief "ask me in" scene was chilling. The trailer, btw, does a good job of hinting at Jessica's big backstory trauma without giving it away completely.
Trivial thought: I wonder whether my "Jessica Jones in the X-Men Movieverse" story, Carry That Weight, will remain unjossed? Because it sounds like they're sticking pretty close to the comics with this show.
