Well, Jenna usually just gets ignored by most Avon/Blake fans, though I did write her deliberately into a couple of stories. If I seriously get into a fandom, I always try and do some good parts for the ignored/overlooked characters. If I was in Classic Trek, I'd probably be writing for Uhura.

I think shippers can hate slashers just as much, (but the virulance isn't usually as strong as the canon tends to back the shippers), but as for the poor copyright holder who dares to write the story she always intended to write...

(I always thought there were hints about Ron and Hermoine going way back, but that's just me.)
