The Alias characters were my first idea for that very reason, but I didn't want to use them exclusively.

Did you ever see the Ian McKellan/Judi Dench MacBeth from the 70s (RSC production, directed by Trevor Nunn) from which I took my idea re: the witches? It's still my favourite version of the Scottish play.
