I don't know why but this made me giggle like crazy. I love how you have them communicating through John Williams music. Nathan the shark and Hiro the fan boy. And Peter is totally *that* kid. He's Elliot in "ET" or Michael in "Goonies". (To maintain the theme of the grand Spielbergian adventure. That hopeful, sweet, innocent, lovable kid who is a bit naive and wide-eyed but in a good way.. I love your Simone-as-Hermoine characterization. And Niki... Niki's perfect. As someone who loves them together when they're all grown up, I'm enjoying Niki and Nathan's interactions here as well.
If the show ever does flashbacks/time travel to our Heroes as kids they'll be lucky if they get the characterizations as close as you have.
