Nathan taking Claire flying hits a soft spot for me as well, which is one reason to work it in. The other is that this way, Claire experienced it at least once, since she so clearly wished it would happen on the show, and Nathan gets to give her something she really would want.

Peter has a better track record than Mohinder, but Mohinder wasn't available, so... *veg*
